All the world’s a stage for HP’s UK Preferred Partner of the Year
BRACKNELL, UK, 29 February, 2008 – HP today announces the winners of its prestigious 2007 Preferred Partner of the year competition. The award ceremony, celebrates the achievements and accomplishments of HP's channel partners throughout the previous year.
The four principal award categories are commercial and enterprise (C&E), mid market, Small Medium Business (SMB) and certified professional partner of the year. Each winner received a trophy and $20,000 to be used for marketing development.
C&E Preferred Partner of the Year
This was awarded to OCSL, who provide technology solutions to help business align IT. Building on HP's world-class products and services enabled OCSL to demonstrate exceptional growth in 2007. Its commitment to offering expert knowledge to its customers was clearly demonstrated by the high number of HP's specialisations it holds.
Mid Market Preferred Partner of the Year
Panacea Services Ltd scooped the mid-market award. With next-day supply for hardware and software, storage solutions, IT consulting and information lifecycle management, Panacea Services has managed a significant growth percentage for 2007, as well as demonstrating the ability to sell solutions and add value via its HP certified professionals. Such attributes have contributed to making it principal reseller of HP's Reference Information Storage System. That Panacea Services Ltd offer 24 hour maintenance and support, 365 days a year, undoubtedly increases its popularity with customers.
SMB Preferred Partner of the Year
This was awarded to Vohkus Ltd. Vohkus understands that choosing the right IT services for your business is a major decision regardless of size and often can be more so the smaller a business is. Vohkus scored highly for addressing this growing and important market sector and providing practical, professional, no-nonsense solutions for its SMB customers which fuelled its growth in 2007. Its strong alliance and close partnering with HP allow it to offer customers a comprehensive suite of IT management hardware, software and consulting services in a "one-stop shop" solution approach. Its HP certified professionals help customers to make better buying decisions, maximise HP resources and achieve easier implementation of solutions, contributing to a quicker return on investment.
Certified Professional Partner of the Year
Concluding the awards for the evening was the award that went to Logicalis. Logicalis is an international provider of integrated ICT solutions. Headquartered in the UK, it provides the architecture, deployment, integration and management of networks and systems to deliver leading edge solutions with a focus on network and enterprise systems. Logicalis demonstrated a keen commitment throughout 2007 to qualification. The growth in number of HP certified professionals at the company and the number of certifications attained was exemplary. The value added by the expert knowledge held by the certified specialists at Logicalis benefits both the company and the customers and specialisations will continue to be a key focus for HP for 2008.
